I've got a Samsung Tab A7 that was given to me by my organization, and I'm allowed to keep it as a personal device. However, it's still locked down by their settings, and I can't access recovery mode to reset it. I'm looking for a way to unlock or reset the device without using a paid app. Any suggestions?

Your best bet is to reach out to your organization’s IT department and ask them to unlock it for you. They usually have the ability to release devices like this since it's still tied to their management system.
But what if that's not an option? It's a school that gave us these tablets for accessing books and exams, and getting in touch with them to unlock it isn’t really feasible.
