I have an extra HDD with three partitions: C, E, and F. After using partition F to download and install Windows, the drive now appears as USB D. I'm worried that the data on C and F is gone. Is there a way to revert the drive back to normal so I can access my files?

If you're using Windows, try checking the disk's status with the Disk Management tool. It will show you all the partitions on your HDD. If the file systems are intact, you might be able to recover your data just by reassigning a drive letter so that Windows Explorer can recognize it. Good luck!
That's a good start! Post the image when you can.
Here's a screenshot of what Disk Management shows for my drive.
