How can I set up an exception for a blocked email tenant?

I've added a specific email address to my organization's blocked tenant list, but now the management team wants to allow communication between that blocked email and our HR department's email address. I'm not well-versed in IT stuff, and all the guides I find seem outdated. Can anyone help me through this? Thanks, and sorry if I broke any forum rules!

Just to add to what EmailGuru77 said, you'll find the option to create a transport rule in the Exchange admin center. Look under 'Mail Flow' and then 'Rules' to get started. Remember, these steps may vary slightly based on the configuration of your M365 setup. Good luck!

If you're using Microsoft 365, the easiest way to handle this is to first remove the email address from the blocked tenant list. Then, you can set up a transport rule that forwards all emails from that domain directly to your HR email. It's a straightforward process once you know where to look!
