I'm helping my grandparents set up their new Windows 11 PC, and I want to make it easier for them to use. Is there a way to configure the computer so it logs in automatically like their old one did? They don't need to enter a password every time they turn it on since only they and I use it.

You can definitely set up auto-login on Windows 11! Go to the Sign-in options in Settings, then look under additional sign-in options. If you don’t see what you need, you might have to install Group Policy Editor first. Also, setting up a Windows Hello PIN can make things easier because they won’t have to remember a password every time they reboot.
Just make sure you back up their data before making any changes, especially in the BIOS. It’s always good to play it safe!
If you really want them to skip the password, you could try setting a new password and leaving the password field empty. This worked for some folks on Windows 10, so it’s worth a shot.
