How can I stop my Galaxy S21 Ultra from automatically adjusting brightness?

I'm having a frustrating issue with my Galaxy S21 Ultra where the screen keeps adjusting its brightness based on what's being displayed. I've already disabled adaptive brightness and checked every setting I could find, but despite my efforts—like restarting the phone and uninstalling apps—it's still happening. It's not a drastic change, just enough to be annoying. I need help figuring out how to stop this!

Have you checked if your battery saver mode is adjusting the brightness? Sometimes, even if you don't have it on full blast, certain power-saving settings can tweak the display automatically.

I considered that, but the changes aren't as drastic as the battery saver usually causes. It's more of a subtle adjustment.

It sounds like what you're experiencing could be due to Super HDR. You can disable it from the settings in the Gallery app if you're viewing photos, but since you mentioned it's happening with regular screen content, it may not help. Still worth checking out!

I looked into it, and you're right; it doesn't just apply to images. It can still affect other visuals. You might want to explore any options in the display settings beyond just adaptive brightness.
