My HP laptop running Windows 11 keeps telling me, "Your organization requires that you change your pin" and only allows me to switch to number-only passwords. This happens every few months, and it's really annoying. Is there a way to change this setting? It's a personal computer.

Yeah, if you downloaded a test-taking software for a class, it’s possible that it linked you with an organization. To fix this, try removing any corporate accounts associated with your device in the account settings.
Check if this is indeed a work laptop or connected to any organizational account. Sometimes, signing into work emails or apps on personal devices can add restrictions. If that’s the case, you might want to disconnect from those accounts.
It sounds like your laptop is set up to require regular password changes. If this is your own device and not issued by a company or school, you should be able to adjust these settings in the account management section. However, if it's a work or school-provided laptop, those settings might not be changeable by you.
