Hey everyone! I've been getting this annoying pop-up on my Windows 10 PC that says "It's time to upgrade your PC before the end of support" about every 2 weeks or so. Since my PC runs 24/7, I have to keep clicking "Keep Windows 10" just to get rid of it, and it's really frustrating. I'm not looking to upgrade to Windows 11, so I'm hoping there's a way to disable these pop-ups permanently. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

You can definitely disable those pop-ups! Microsoft says Windows 10 will be supported until 2025, so you shouldn't rush to upgrade. To stop the notifications, try editing the registry:
1. Press `Win + R`, type `regedit`, and hit Enter.
2. Go to `HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREPoliciesMicrosoftWindowsGwx`. (If the 'Gwx' key isn't there, just create it.)
3. Create a **DWORD (32-bit) Value** named `DisableGwx` and set its value to `1`.
4. Restart your computer to apply the changes.
Just keep in mind that if Microsoft wins any lawsuits, you might still be at risk for not upgrading down the line. Good luck!
Just a heads up, Windows 10 is approaching its end-of-life date in 2025, so keeping it updated is crucial for security. But if you're okay managing the risks yourself, then you do you! Just don’t say I didn’t warn you if something goes wrong later!
Honestly, if your PC meets Windows 11’s requirements, just upgrade! It’s a lot more secure and user-friendly. But if you're set on staying with Windows 10, you could always manage your own security to keep things in check, according to some users here. If you're comfortable doing that, you'll likely be fine.
Yeah, but people have had issues with Windows 11 too. It's really a matter of preference.
I get where you're coming from, but this isn't my personal PC. I just want to stick with Windows 10 for now.
