How Can I Structure My AWS Learning Journey?

I've been diving into AWS for about a week now, and I've managed to get through EC2 and S3. I've been sticking to the official documentation, but I'm a bit lost on how much I should read overall and what parts are essential for a newcomer like me. Is it necessary to go through all the documentation for a topic, or can I focus on specific sections? Also, if I'm looking to get certified, should I study all the related documentation thoroughly or would taking a specific course be a better route? Should I consider switching to a different platform that offers a more structured learning path?

I think getting a certification is worthwhile! I usually watch the course videos first, then pause to try things out on my own in the AWS console. Also, don't hesitate to ask follow-up questions online (like using AI tools) when something isn't clear. Many courses are affordable and pack a lot of information, so it’s worth checking them out.

Your approach really depends on your goals. If you're just looking to grasp AWS basics, don't feel like you need to read every single line in the docs. Dive into hands-on projects with your AWS account instead. But for certifications, I'd highly suggest enrolling in courses on platforms like Udemy. They'll give you a more guided path and cover the essential parts without overwhelming you.

For structured learning, consider starting with the SAA-C03 exam guide. This will give you a clear direction. I recommend using a course from Stephane M. on Udemy; it's super helpful. You can always use the official AWS docs to supplement your learning based on what you're covering in the course.
