I'm worried that my computer might be infected with a Trojan. I've read that the only surefire way to get rid of one is to reset my device completely, but that seems really inconvenient. Is there any way to confirm if I have a Trojan and, if so, how can I remove it without doing a full reset?

You might want to run a scan with your antivirus software of choice. Unfortunately, the only way to be 100% sure is often through a full reset using an installation USB. That said, if you don’t want to do that yet, make sure you have backed up important files before proceeding.
First off, what led you to think you have a Trojan? Understanding the signs can help identify issues more clearly.
If you suspect malware, keep an eye out for these signs: browser hijacking (like weird redirects), any "connection not private" warnings, antivirus that’s disabled, or overall slow performance with unexpected pop-ups. I recommend booting into Safe Mode to perform scans with trusted antivirus programs like ESET, HitmanPro, or Malwarebytes.
