How can I tell if my power cable is suitable for my PSU?

I've been using a power cable from my old PSU with my current setup for about a year now. I initially thought it wouldn't matter, but I'm starting to wonder if the cable could affect the voltage for my new PSU. Unfortunately, I can't find the original cable that came with the PSU. Is there a way to check if the current cable provides enough voltage?

Have you experienced any problems that might be linked to the PSU? Generally, it’s best to use the cables that come with your devices. They’re included for a reason!

I'm not having any specific issues, but my performance seems lower compared to others with similar builds. That's why I want to ensure my PSU’s working properly—not easy since I can’t find the original cable!

If your power cable plugs into the wall outlet normally, it should provide the same voltage. Power cables haven't really changed much over the years. I’m still using a cable from my old Apple IIe with my current PC setup with no issues!
