How Can I Test Linux Without Fully Committing Yet?

I'm interested in trying out Linux while keeping my existing Windows setup. I'd like to dual boot Linux alongside Windows on a dual-drive system. If I enjoy using Linux, can I erase Windows and install Linux on my primary M.2 drive?

If you want to dive into using Linux, starting with a Live USB that has persistence is a great idea. This lets you save your files and settings between reboots. I personally recommend Linux Mint for beginners; it's quite user-friendly and a good starting point.

No need to dual boot just to test Linux! Most Linux distributions offer a Live ISO option that lets you boot and explore without making any changes to your setup. This way, you can try it safely without affecting your PC!

Go for it! Just remember to always keep backups of your files in case something doesn’t go as planned during your switch.
