How can I transfer and delete screenshots from my iPhone to an SSD?

I've got an iPhone 16 Pro loaded with over 17,000 photos, most of which are screenshots. As a serious investor and gambler, I constantly take screenshots of my bets and stock positions, but it's a hassle scrolling through all of them when I just want to find actual photos of my friends and family. I've got a 2TB Samsung T7 portable SSD and a MacBook Pro M4 that I can use to offload these screenshots. What's the easiest way to transfer all my screenshots to the SSD? Is there a one-click option to select all screenshots, or will I really have to go through and select them one by one? Also, once they're on the SSD, how can I delete them from both my phone and iCloud to save on storage costs? Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

To make things easier, check out the Photos app on your iPhone. If you open the menu and look for 'Media Types', you can filter for just screenshots. This way, you can select all of them at once and export them to your SSD in one go. Just tap 'Select', then 'Select All', and share to export the originals. Just a heads-up, exporting 10k at once might slow things down though; my iPhone lagged when I tried to select 800.

That sounds great! But does it really take that long if you're just transferring a lot at once? I mean, I thought these SSDs were faster, but I guess the process could still lag.
