Hey everyone! I'm looking for help on how to transfer my data from an Android device to an iOS device. I tried using the "Android to iOS" app, but it didn't work for me. Also, I've heard that WhatsApp might not recover my chats, even though I've backed them up. Is this true? I'm new to iOS and would really appreciate any advice! (Shoutout to my fellow Pakistanis for any specific tips!)

WhatsApp recovery is linked to your Meta account, so as long as your backup is intact and you have everything set up with Apple, you should be fine. Just make sure your backup process is all lined up! I don’t have too much info about the specifics for Pakistan, but that's the general idea.
I’m not from Pakistan, but I’ve been told that moving the SIM card to the new phone can be important. Have you done that? Some aspects of transferring data might require it, even if your backup is set. Let me know how it goes!
