I've had my iPad for about 7 years now, but it's recently stopped charging. I took it to the Apple store and they told me that the charging pins are damaged beyond repair, and since it's an older model, they can't help me. I primarily use my iPad for drawing and all my artwork is stored there. The problem is that my old iPad is linked to my mom's Apple ID. I'm planning to get a new iPad soon and I'm wondering if there's a way for me to transfer all of my drawings from her iCloud account to my new device. Apologies if this is confusing, I'm not very tech-savvy!

Unfortunately, if your iPad is completely dead and you can’t charge it, you will need to find a way to get it fixed to access your files. Look into local repair shops; sometimes they can fix the charger port for less than the cost of a new device. If there's any backup associated with your old Apple ID, that might save your work! Good luck!
You can't directly transfer from one Apple ID to another, but there's a workaround. Since your old iPad is dead, you can’t backup the old Apple ID, but if your mom can log into her iCloud, she might be able to check if there’s a backup available. If you do get a new iPad, when setting it up, choose to restore from iCloud, but you’ll need to use her Apple ID credentials for that to access the old backup. Just remember that if she hasn't backed it up before, it could be a bit tricky.
You could also look for third-party tools that help with transferring files between accounts, just be cautious with those!
Apple typically doesn't repair older iPads. If you want to get the files off the dead iPad, consider looking for a reputable third-party repair service that might replace the charger port. If you can get it powered back on, you could backup your latest drawings directly to iCloud. Additionally, if your mom can access her iCloud, it might show your iPad backup there—just make sure that the backup process was set up previously, otherwise you might not have everything.

Thanks for the heads up! I’ll definitely ask her to check her iCloud.
