Hey everyone! I've been working as a QA Engineer for 5 years now, and I'm looking to make the jump to a DevOps Engineer role. I've got solid experience with testing processes, automation, and working with dev teams, but I want to expand my skills into DevOps. I'd love some advice from anyone who's made a similar transition or is already in DevOps. Specifically, I'm looking for recommendations on:
• Key skills or certifications I should focus on
• Tools or projects that would strengthen my profile
• How to leverage my QA experience when applying for DevOps jobs
I have a basic foundation in Linux and some programming experience in Python. Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

Check out this resource: https://one2n.io/sre-bootcamp. Just a heads up, I created it! It has a lot of useful content you might find helpful as you prepare for a DevOps career. Best of luck on your journey!
Glad to help!
Hey! Transitioning to DevOps can be straightforward if you focus on the right areas. Start with the fundamentals like Linux, then dive into Docker and Kubernetes. Building a homelab is a great hands-on approach! Don't forget to showcase your learning on LinkedIn; it really helps. Join communities like KubeCraft for experience and connections. Take it step by step and you’ll land a role soon!
Thank you brother!
