I had an old HP Victus that recently burnt out, but I managed to save the hard drive (it's an ADJ model). Now, I'm trying to transfer my data to a new PC, but I keep getting a message that says the drive is BitLocker protected. I checked my Microsoft account for the recovery key, but it doesn't work. Is there another way to find the key or remove the BitLocker protection?

Unfortunately, there's really only one option: you need to find the recovery key. If it's not working from your Microsoft account, it might be saved on a different device or location if you ever backed it up. Otherwise, the data could be lost.
Yeah, that's my issue too! The key in my Microsoft account isn't functioning, and I'm not sure where else to look since the drive I'm using wasn't the original one from the computer.
