Hey everyone! I'm in a bit of a pickle here. My iPad is disabled, and I keep seeing this annoying message telling me to connect it to iTunes. I'm not concerned about losing any data; I just want to get back into the device. Here's what I've already tried: I put the iPad into recovery mode and connected it to my Mac, but it doesn't show up in Finder. I even tried using a PC with iTunes, but still, no luck – the iPad isn't detected. I've switched out cables thinking it might be a connection issue. I also attempted to erase it using Find My iPhone, but it's not on WiFi, so that didn't work either. I feel totally stuck right now. Any tips would be super helpful!

Just a heads up, the difference is crucial! If you put it in recovery mode first, it might not be recognized properly. Try unplugging it, entering recovery mode, and then plugging it back in. It sometimes takes a couple of tries to get it right.
You definitely need to be in recovery mode when the iPad is plugged into your computer. That’s the key to getting it recognized. Make sure you’re doing it correctly—hold the right buttons until you see the recovery mode screen and then connect it. If you still have issues, try a different USB port or even a different computer if you can.
