I have an ASUS TUF GAMING B550-PLUS WIFI II motherboard with a built-in WiFi 6 card (MT7921) and I'm running a 5600X3D processor. I'm looking to upgrade to WiFi 7 and I have a couple of questions: first, can I upgrade the WiFi card directly on the motherboard, or would it be better to go for an add-on card? Second, do you have any recommendations for a WiFi 7 card that includes Bluetooth? I've heard the MSI Herald-BE WI-FI 7 MAX is a solid choice if I decide on an add-on card, but I'm open to any suggestions. Thanks!

You can actually upgrade directly on the motherboard, but using an add-on card usually gives you better performance and flexibility. If you're going for WiFi 7, I'd definitely recommend an add-on option. The MSI Herald-BE WI-FI 7 MAX is a great choice, especially since it comes with Bluetooth support. It’s one of the best on the market right now! Let know what your current OS is, though, as that might affect compatibility.
I'm running Windows 11, should I be good to go with that card?
