I received a B550 motherboard and a Ryzen 5900 processor from a friend, which are great upgrades from my current B450 and Ryzen 3400G setup. My old PC has Windows 10 installed on an SSD, and I'm unsure about how to properly overwrite it to boot a fresh copy of Windows 10 on my new setup using the same SSD. I've already created the Windows 10 installation media. I also have another 1TB HDD that's just storing game files. Should I install Windows on the HDD instead, or is there a better way to manage this?

You can definitely use the SSD with a fresh Windows copy! Just build your new PC, boot from the USB drive with the installer, and reinstall Windows. Just keep in mind, you'll have to reinstall all your applications and games after that.

Got it, so I should back up everything from my SSD to my HDD first to avoid losing any data, right?
