Hey everyone! I'm trying to upload my CDs to iTunes so I can burn them again, but I'm running into some issues. My Windows computer doesn't have a built-in CD drive, so I'm using an external RW CD/DVD drive. I thought I could just plug it in, pop in a CD, and it would automatically show up in iTunes like it usually does. But it hasn't worked at all, which is making me feel totally lost. The drive is recognized on my PC, but when I insert a CD, I see a quick loading icon and then...nothing. I'm not very tech-savvy, so I'm hoping someone can help me out with this. Thanks a bunch!

It sounds like your external drive is recognized by your Windows system but isn’t reading the CD correctly. First, make sure your external drive is properly connected—try unplugging and plugging it back in. Also, check if your drive is compatible with the type of CDs you have. If you’re still having issues, try using a different program to see if your drive works outside of iTunes. Sometimes, reinstalling or updating iTunes can help too!
Thanks for the tips! I'll check the connections and see if the drive is compatible with the CDs. I didn’t think about trying other programs, that's a good idea!
