I've been using Linux Ubuntu for a while, but I've run into a major issue—there's no way to use WhatsApp Desktop directly on Linux. I'm looking for a solution or a specific distribution that could make this work. I'm quite tired of Windows 11 and would love your input!

If you want a desktop app experience, you can install WhatsApp via snap or use a browser extension, especially on Firefox.
I’m a fan of Ferdium! It runs nicely and supports multiple messaging apps, including WhatsApp.
Interestingly, they're discontinuing the Windows app in favor of a web app, so it seems like the web version is the way to go now.
You could try using the web version of WhatsApp at web.whatsapp.com. It’s pretty convenient and works fine on Linux.
Check out ZapZap! It's a third-party app that you can find on GitHub. It's not official, but it works surprisingly well.
