Hey everyone! We're currently using Terraform across our organization, but I've noticed there's a lot of copy-pasting going on without centralized modules. We also work with Kubernetes and ArgoCD. The main issue is that the process for developers to create new services and infrastructure isn't very smooth or clear. We're tasked with improving this process to make it easier and faster for developers to self-serve what they need. I've been looking into options like Crossplane, but that has only added to my confusion. I'd really appreciate any suggestions or insights on what you've found to work well in similar situations. It feels like there's so much noise in the space right now, and I just end up going in circles!

Two options to consider are Port and Backstage. Port is pretty straightforward for getting something up and running quickly, while Backstage is an open-source option that can work if you have a big enough team to manage it.
