I'm currently unplugging my Bluetooth mouse during the initial boot process because it seems to slow down the boot time significantly. Is there a way to configure my system to ignore the mouse until the graphical interface is up and running? Any tips or tricks would really help me out!

Have you tried moving the mouse around during the boot? I heard that making sure it's awake can sometimes speed things up!

Make sure to mention your distribution and any relevant hardware details when asking for help on forums! It's usually helpful. Also, you can edit your GRUB settings. At the GRUB screen, press 'E' to edit, remove 'splash', and then hit F10 to boot. This way, you can see any errors or delays that might be causing problems if the mouse isn't being recognized right away.
You might want to try unplugging the mouse during the boot process at the GRUB stage as well. It seems to often help if the USB device is causing hang-ups.
