I downloaded Ubuntu LTS, but my BIOS shows that it's taking up 930GB and isn't booting properly. I'm trying to figure out how to clean my SSD and get Linux running on it. Ideally, I want a distro that allows me to use Steam too.

It seems like you're encountering storage issues. Make sure your SSD is properly formatted before you attempt the installation. You might also want to verify that you're downloading the correct size file. Ubuntu isn’t 930GB!
What do you see when you try to boot from the SSD? That might give us a clue about what's going on. If your BIOS shows it's taking up so much space, you might not be seeing the installation point yet.
I recommend checking the Ubuntu homepage and going through their installation guide. It could help clarify some things for you, which will make it easier for others to assist.
I think that's a misunderstanding. It sounds like he might be trying to download a huge file instead of the actual OS. The official Ubuntu LTS download is only about 5.9GB, so there might be a mix-up there.
