How do I connect a fan hub to my motherboard?

I'm putting together my first gaming PC and I ran into a snag with the fan hub that came with my Montech 100 case. The hub features three connectors, but my GIGABYTE B550M K motherboard doesn't have a matching header since the SYS_FAN header has four pins. I'm really puzzled about how to connect the hub to the motherboard properly. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Make sure to upload the pictures to Imgur and link them here! One of the connectors on the hub is likely for ARGB, which your motherboard can't support if you're using an older model. You might also find a SATA power connector in there. Just keep an eye on what each cable does!

You can definitely connect a 3-pin fan hub to a 4-pin header on your motherboard! Just make sure to align the connector with the tab on the header, leaving one pin uncovered. Once that's done, boot into your BIOS and switch the fan header setting to either DC or Voltage control mode. Just a heads up, while 3-pin fans won't give as precise control as 4-pin ones, they will still operate just fine.

From what I can tell, if you're looking at the image, the middle cable should connect to the SYS_FAN header on the motherboard. The other cable could be for power from the PSU, but I'm not quite sure about the third cable. It might be the 3-pin fan connector you can use with your 4-pin header!
