Hey everyone, I'm new to PC building and I need a bit of guidance! I'm trying to figure out how to wire my 5070Ti graphics card to my 850e power supply. The power supply has 3 CPU/PCIe ports and a 2x6V connector, while the 5070Ti has 3 ports for 8 pins. Should I connect one of the PCIe ports along with the split 2x6V to the GPU? Looking forward to your advice, thanks!

Are we talking about the Corsair RM850e here? If so, just plug the 12V-2x6 cable directly from the PSU into the GPU; you don’t need the adapter that came with the 5070Ti. It’s pretty straightforward!
What model of 5070Ti do you have? Most of them don’t actually require 3 PCIe 8-pins, so you might not need to worry about that. Typically, you can just use the 12V-2x6 cable from your PSU directly to the GPU without any hassle!
I’ve got the MSI Gaming Trio, and it came with a cable that splits into 3x8 pins.
I appreciate the tips! But can you clarify what the adapter's purpose is then?
