Hey everyone! I'm a second-year IT engineering student with a serious passion for programming, but I feel overwhelmed by all the areas I want to explore. I'm curious about everything from full stack development to data science, AI, robotics, cybersecurity, and more. The problem is, I fear that if I keep chasing all these interests, I'll end up confused and stuck without a clear path. I want to build a solid foundation and get employed in the tech field, but I also want to learn about things like math and avoid relying solely on AI for my projects. Your curiosity is awesome and super common at the start of a CS journey. Rather than jump from one thing to another, pick a small project and see where it leads you. Starting simple helps reveal what interests you most, letting you dig deeper as challenges arise. Often, you won’t find your long-term specialty until you’ve tried actually building things.
