Hey everyone! I'm looking to make a website but I really don't know where to start. I dabbled a bit in programming, mostly with Python, so I understand some basics like loops and conditionals, but I'm really a newbie when it comes to creating anything substantial. I've touched on databases and even have a bit of experience with MySQL, but I still rely heavily on tutorials for guidance. I also tried out HTML, CSS, and Django, but I haven't gotten very deep into those either.
I studied IT in college for about a year and a half, but I feel like our focus was more on algorithms than real-world coding skills, which has left me a bit lost. I'd love to learn about everything that goes into building a website—no fancy stuff needed, just the basics so I can improve my coding skills. If you have any recommendations for tutorials, courses, or books, or any step-by-step learning paths, I'd really appreciate it! Thanks!
