Hey everyone! I'm looking to dive into Azure to enhance my skills for my role as a Data Analyst, but I'm feeling a bit lost on where to begin. Any advice or resources for a complete beginner would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Before jumping into Azure, it might be worth considering what specific tasks you’ll be handling as a data analyst. Sometimes, focusing on certain data-related skills could be more beneficial than just learning Azure. For instance, if your company primarily uses Azure for data storage, learning how to interact with that data could be your starting point.
Since you're gathering and visualizing data, think about automation too. Excel can be really tedious for reporting, especially if you're pulling from Azure. Learning some foundational Azure skills for data retrieval and visualization will save you a lot of time in the long run.
Azure is an extensive cloud platform with tons of tools to choose from. I'd recommend checking the job market to see which Azure skills are frequently requested and then look for beginner tutorials on those particular tools. You might want to consider Microsoft Fabric as well since it’s gaining a lot of attention and could be useful for automating your reporting tasks. Don't feel tied down to just the Microsoft products; explore what's out there!
Thanks for the suggestion! I'll definitely look into Microsoft Fabric as it's been mentioned a lot lately. I just need a solid basic understanding of Azure first, right?
