I'm building my first PC and ran into a problem with my Corsair MP600 Elite SSD, which has a heatsink. I'm trying to screw it down to the motherboard, but the screw I need is stuck in the motherboard heatsink and I can't get it out. I'd really appreciate any guidance on how to resolve this issue! I included a video link for more context.

You have a couple of options here. First, consider removing the heatsink from your MP600 since you can’t use both heatsinks at the same time. Alternatively, you might find a way to hold down the SSD without relying on the motherboard's heatsink. If your motherboard has another M.2 slot, that could be a good solution too, provided it won’t obstruct your GPU if it’s large.
If you're seriously stuck, try figuring out what type of screw is being used to hold the heatsink in the motherboard and see if you can get another one from a hardware store. Usually, M.2 screws are pretty standard. Also, check if you have any extra screws in the motherboard box; they often pack a few spares there, just in case!

I checked my box, and there are no extra screws. So it looks like I’ll have to either buy some or try to get the current one out somehow.
