How Do I Keep My Ideas Organized While Planning My Unity Project?

I'm diving into my first Unity project, trying to build a module all on my own. I've got a couple of features in mind, but every time I start mapping out the program architecture, I get lost and forget what I was doing! Even after getting tips from GPT, I'm still facing these mental blocks, especially when I'm working in Visio. Has anyone else dealt with this? What strategies did you find helpful to stay on track?

You're definitely not alone! I struggle with maintaining focus too. I keep a notepad file open where I jot down what I plan to do next—kind of like a to-do list. And remember, LLMs like GPT can give you advice, but they won't remember your context unless you guide them. Oh, and I've found that taking a break, even overnight, can really help clarify my thoughts about the project!

I totally get where you're coming from! It sounds like you might need to simplify your planning process a bit. Sometimes just diving in and starting to code can help solidify your understanding. You can always refactor later if needed. Don't worry about getting everything perfect right from the start!

Starting with a solid plan is a great move, but it sounds like you might be overthinking it. Remember, design is informed by experience; sometimes just getting your hands dirty with prototypes can help you figure out the real problems. Keeping it simple will help you adapt your design as issues come up!
