How do I organize my files in Windows 11 the way I want?

I'm trying to sort out a messy folder for school-related files. Right now, important stuff like my favorite class materials and teacher's writings are mixed in with less important files, like menus for the week. How can I arrange these files to make them easier to find?

To sort your files effectively, you can follow a few steps: first, set your folder view to sort by 'date modified' so that less important files will drop down. You can also create subfolders to categorize your files better. If you want a specific order, consider prefixing your file names with numbers (like '001 - Important Paper' and '999 - Food Menu') to dictate the arrangement when sorted alphabetically. Remember, the system won't guess your preferences, so you'll have to guide it!
