Hey everyone! I'm really new to Linux, so I appreciate any help you can offer. Back when I was using Windows, I had my games installed on a second hard drive (B drive) while Windows was on the C drive. Now that I'm running Nobara 42 with KDE and have Steam set up, I can access that second hard drive using Dolphin. However, I'm not sure how to get Steam to recognize and launch those games from that drive like I did in Windows. I've transferred my save files over, and I just need some guidance on how to install or start the games from the B drive. Is it possible to do this? I'd be really grateful for a step-by-step walkthrough! Thanks!

To get started with playing your games from that B drive, go to Steam and click on Settings, then select Storage. You should see a '+' icon there - click on that and add your second drive. Steam should automatically detect any games you have installed on that drive. Also, right-click on the game's title in your library, go to Properties, then Compatibility, and check the box to force the use of a specific Proton version. Opt for 'experimental' from the dropdown menu. This process should make things easier for you!

I tried the experimental Proton setting, and it worked for me! Now I can see the install button. However, I don't want to install the game on my Linux drive since it's running low on space. But adding the storage doesn’t seem to work. I tried selecting the B drive as a library folder, but it didn’t seem to save it. Any tips on that?
