Hey everyone, I recently bought a 1TB SSD to replace the 256GB SSD in my HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop (model TG01-2xxx). I decided to try installing it myself after watching a couple of videos, but I ran into some issues. Now, my computer won't start and shows a 'No Boot Device Found' message. A couple of things I might've messed up:
1. I broke my case bezel while trying to remove it without unclamping it.
2. I switched the SATA cable for a component called SATO5 and plugged it into a different SATA slot, following some advice I found online.
Can anyone help me figure out what went wrong and how to fix it?

It sounds like your old SSD had your operating system on it. By replacing it with a new, empty SSD, you essentially lost your boot device. If you still have the old drive, I'd recommend putting it back in and using the new SSD as additional storage. Just make sure the original SSD is set as the primary boot device in the BIOS. Once it's back in, you can boot up normally!
Yeah, when you swap out your old drive that had Windows, you need to install the OS onto the new SSD if you want to use it as your main drive. You can easily do that using a bootable USB flash drive. Just download the Windows installation file and follow the steps to create a bootable drive.
Thanks for the heads up! Do you have any video tutorials you'd recommend for installing Windows this way?

Got it! I was hesitant to toss the old SSD anyway. Are there any good videos to help me reinstall Windows on the new one?
