How do I properly power my 5070ti with a Corsair RM750x?

I just installed my 5070ti, but I'm a bit confused about connecting the power. My Corsair RM750x has two 8-pin PCIe cables, each with 2x8 pin outputs, giving me a total of 4 PCIe connections. However, the 5070ti requires a 3x8 pin adapter. Should I plug in all three connections from the adapter (two 8 pins and one single 8 pin), or just use two of them? Will the GPU boot up with that setup?

Glad to hear it’s all working now! Those GPUs can be really nerve-wracking to set up, especially given their price. Just keep an eye on the temperatures when you’re gaming to make sure everything stays cool!

You should plug in all three connectors for the 5070ti. Even if you have to daisy chain a bit, it’s totally fine for this setup. The GPU will need that extra power to run properly, so don't worry about overloading your cables as long as they are designed to handle it. Good luck!

I agree, just make sure that all cables are plugged in securely. It really helps with stability!
