I have a bit of a situation here – my toddler climbed into my chair and started hitting my keyboard like it's a toy, and now my WASD keys aren't working! The weird part is that the arrow keys are typing those letters instead. When I check out the device manager, it shows my keyboard listed five times. I've tried deleting the drivers and letting it reinstall the generic driver, but it just lists the same device multiple times again. I also removed the keyboard completely, but it keeps happening on restart. I even tried that language trick I saw on YouTube without any luck. I'm really hoping someone can help me get this back to the default settings!

In the Device Manager, look for those keyboard listings. Right-click on the grayed-out ones first and uninstall them. Then, do the same for the bold one left. You'll lose keyboard functionality for a bit, but don’t worry. Unplug the keyboard, wait a second, and plug it back in. This should reinstall the keyboard and get rid of those duplicates. If you need the keyboard in the meantime, try using the on-screen keyboard by pressing Windows Key + Ctrl + O. Hope this helps!
It sounds like you might have a gaming keyboard. Check if you have an FN key, which can change the functionality of your keys. Press that along with your letter keys, and you might see some indicators on the arrows or WASD that can switch their functions back.

YES! Thank you so much for this tip.
