I recently installed Linux Mint on an old laptop and I'm looking to set up a VPN. I've tried three different VPN applications, but I can't find the settings to choose which country I want to connect through. The VPN apps don't seem to show up for some reason. Also, I'm curious if Mint has a built-in VPN solution that I'm not aware of. On another note, when using Firefox to access Reddit, it looks quite different from what I see on Chrome on my Windows 11 PC. I can't sign in and there's some weird country selection happening. Interestingly, switching to Chrome resolved the Reddit issue. Any help would be appreciated!

But if you want to do it through the terminal, you can simply use a command like `nordvpn connect UK` to connect to a UK server. Each country has a two-letter code. Another option is to use OpenVPN where you download rules from your VPN provider's site, but that's a bit more complicated since you'd have to do it for every server and country you're interested in.
