However, I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed with all the information available and not sure where to start. To give you a bit of context about my background, I'm an absolute beginner when it comes to coding. My goal is to construct a simple AI project like a chatbot or an image recognizer. So far, I've just read a few articles but haven't done much else. I'm looking for advice on the essential programming languages and tools I should learn, any beginner-friendly courses or tutorials (especially free ones), simple project ideas for newbies, and how to set up my computer for AI development. Any guidance you can provide would be greatly appreciated!

A lot of people suggest starting with a Computer Science degree, but if you just want to tinker with Python, you can definitely go with online tutorials. Just keep in mind that starting with C can give you a solid programming foundation, but it might be a bit much for complete beginners. Rather than diving straight into AI, it’s good to build your skills from the ground up. My advice is to start with the basics first!
I have to disagree! A degree can be full of fluff. Teach yourself with books and articles instead. You can start from scratch and learn everything you need without the filler you get in college. Just take it step by step!
