I'm completely new to Linux and haven't worked with it before. I'll be using Debian as my first distribution, but I'm curious if I should learn general Linux concepts or just dive right into how to use Debian specifically. My goal is to eventually switch to Arch once I'm more comfortable with Linux. I plan to use Linux mainly for gaming and browsing the internet, similar to how I use Windows. Any advice for a Windows user like me?

If you've used Windows or Mac before, you'll pick up Linux in a similar way—it's just a different operating system. Don't stress too much about it, you'll get the hang of it!
The best way to learn is just to keep using it. You'll naturally figure things out over time. If you hit a wall or get confused, don't hesitate to ask around for help!
Just look things up online first! Most questions you have have probably been answered already.
But what if I accidentally mess up the command line? Is it safe to do that?
