Hey everyone! I'm planning to transition from being a NOC Engineer to a DevOps Engineer, but I'm not quite sure where to start. My current role involves monitoring servers, enterprise applications, and network devices. Based on your experiences, what would be the best steps to take to break into DevOps? Thanks in advance for your help!

Check out this awesome resource: https://roadmap.sh/devops. It's one of my go-tos for an overall roadmap in DevOps. I think it really lays out a good path for beginners!
The roadmap is solid, but here’s a tip: try to find a specific area to dive deep into, like Kubernetes, CI/CD, or observability. While it’s important to have a general understanding of all the core concepts, having expertise in one area will really set you apart in the field. Think of it as being ‘T’ shaped: broad knowledge and deep in one specific area. It’s not unique to DevOps, but it’s definitely a great way to build a successful career!
Yeah, absolutely! You can also focus on whatever you're already working on. It's often easier to gain depth when you're hands-on with a production workload. My knowledge of AWS, Kubernetes, and other technologies has primarily grown from tackling real-world issues and breakages.
