How do I switch my Xfinity XB10 to WPA2 for the 2.4GHz channel?

I'm trying to change the WPA settings on my Xfinity XB10 router for the 2.4GHz channel from WPA3 to WPA2 because my Pico-based tool requires WPA2. However, when I access the admin settings for that channel, the option to change it is grayed out. I could really use some help with this!

It sounds like your router might be set to WPA2/WPA3-Personal by default, which is common for Wi-Fi 6 routers. If the option is grayed out, it could be due to the router not allowing changes to WPA settings while certain features are enabled. You might want to check if there's a setting related to mixed mode that needs to be adjusted first. Also, if you can, posting a screenshot of your settings could help others give you better advice!

Enabling mixed mode usually allows legacy devices while keeping newer security protocols available.

Yeah, I've seen that before. It’s like the router doesn’t let you switch without disabling other settings.
