Hey folks, I recently lost my grandfather, and he had a bunch of newsletters and important files on his laptop that he wanted to keep. I'm trying to figure out the best way to transfer everything onto a flash drive. Should I just move everything from the local disk, or is there a more specific way to go about it?

If you're mainly looking for documents and photos, just copy them from his user profile—usually found in C:UsersGrandpa—rather than moving everything. Focus on folders like Desktop, Documents, Pictures, and Videos. Always copy to the USB drive instead of moving; this way, you have a backup in case something goes wrong during the transfer. It's also a good idea to make additional backups on other hard drives or cloud storage since flash drives can fail too.
What cloud service should I use?
