How do I upgrade my gaming PC specs?

I'm not the best when it comes to understanding tech specs, but I really want to upgrade my gaming setup, which just isn't cutting it anymore. Here's what I've currently got: an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 graphics card, a 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-13400F processor, 16GB of ADATA XPG GAMMIX D45 DDR4 RAM, and a Samsung 990 Pro 1TB M.2 NVMe SSD. Any advice on how to improve my setup would be greatly appreciated!

I suggest focusing on upgrading your GPU first. It seems like your system might be bottlenecking a bit with that GTX 1650. If you can, consider a DDR5 build too for better performance.

Would a CPU like the AMD Ryzen 5 7600 be a compatible upgrade, or would I need extra parts to make it work?

Honestly, your SSD is solid, but for modern gaming, you might want to consider upgrading more components. Your CPU is decent enough, but everything else might need a refresh too.

Adding a new GPU and another 16GB of the same RAM would really make a difference!

The comments here are a bit all over the place! Your Intel 13400F is modern enough for gaming. Just update your GPU for a noticeable improvement. Look into options like the 9070, 5070, or 7800XT. If you want to save, check out used GPUs like the 2070 Super or 3070.

Upgrading to an RTX 5090 or 4090 would definitely enhance your setup, but that might be a bit excessive given your current build.

Yeah, I figured that might be overkill for my 13400F!
