How Do You Keep Up with the Rapid Changes in AI?

For me, staying current isn’t about jumping on every new tool. It’s about selecting the ones that truly enhance my workflow and being curious enough to explore them hands-on.

Honestly, I don’t try to keep up with everything. Most new tools just seem like hype with little real benefit. I only use the AI tools that are relevant to my work when it makes sense.

I stay updated by checking out Reddit, blogs, and conversations with colleagues. I’ll look at YouTube occasionally, though it's not my main source. 90% of new tools aren’t useful. I feel like you really need to experience them yourself to know if they’re worth it.

As a developer, I focus on popular AI tools with strong backing. I don’t test every new release, but I keep an eye on trends and look for tools that add value to what I already use.

I generally don’t use much AI outside of research, like a Google alternative. I try to stick to what works for me rather than diving into the latest AI tool.
