I've been struggling with maintaining focus during long programming sessions. After about 1.5 to 2 hours, I often start feeling confused and even develop a headache. It seems that even when I'm fully engaged, I end up needing to stop for snacks or coffee to get by, but that doesn't seem like a long-term solution. What are your strategies for keeping your focus without feeling overwhelmed?

You might want to consider uninstalling distracting apps like TikTok or Instagram. It's a game-changer for your concentration. If you're serious about your work, try just using the browser version of sites during work hours. Makes a big difference!
Taking breaks is actually crucial! Trying to push through hours without pause really isn’t sustainable. On my long coding days, I try to step away every couple of hours to recharge. Instead of reaching for snacks, I’ll drink water, take a short walk, or do some stretches. It really helps prevent that burnout feeling.
I hear you! But those small snacks do add up on my waistline. I’ll try to push myself to just get up for a bit.
