I'm curious if the 9060 XT 16GB can handle 1440p in BO6 as well as the 4070 can. Is it a solid choice for this game at that resolution?

The 9060 XT 16GB is actually about 8.2% faster than the 4070 when playing BO6 at 1440p. COD games really favor AMD due to the way they're built around consoles that use AMD tech, which gives AMD GPUs an edge. For instance, the 9070 XT outperforms the 5070 Ti by over 30% in the same game and resolution! So if BO6 is your main game, you should definitely see great performance with the 9060.
I used to have a 4070, and I was getting around 120 to 140 FPS in BO6. I'm looking for something that can pull ahead of the PS5 Pro, which caps at 120 FPS, so it's important to me to upgrade. What do you think?
I have a 9070 XT and I can run BO6 at max settings with a smooth 160+ FPS. So I’d say the 9060 XT will handle it pretty well too, giving you a solid gaming experience.
From what I've read, the 9060 XT generally outperforms the 4070 for BO6 at 1440p, especially after recent driver updates for AMD. Just check some benchmarks – I think you’ll find it’s a worthwhile upgrade!
I saw some numbers floating around that suggest performance is really close, but I’m still wondering if the difference is significant. Is it by a lot or just a few FPS?
Thanks for the info! That's great to hear!
