Hey everyone! With the prices of RAM going up lately, I'm curious about how easy it is to overclock my existing DDR5 kits. I recently upgraded my PC from an Intel Alder Lake to a 9950X3D paired with an X870E Aorus Master, and I'm reusing my old RAM, which is 2x 16GB G.Skill Trident Z5 at 5600Mt/s CL 36. I know there can be some issues with XMP profiles on AM5, but mine worked perfectly right away. I'm looking to see if I can push the speed even further because it feels like my RAM is the bottleneck in my system right now. Any tips?

You've got an X3D chip, which helps a lot! While it's not as simple as GPU or CPU overclocking, you can definitely give it a go. I recommend checking out Buildzoid's DDR5 OC videos; they have some solid info. Here's a link to his channel: [Actually Hardcore Overclocking](https://www.youtube.com/@ActuallyHardcoreOverclocking).
Overclocking DDR5 is pretty straightforward, though stability can be a different story! Unlike CPUs and GPUs that crash immediately when pushed too hard, RAM might BSOD or just mess with your OS without obvious signs. So, tread carefully!

Thanks for the channel recommendation! I’ll check it out.
