How good is this budget PC build for gaming?

I'm planning to build a budget PC primarily for playing competitive games like Fortnite, Warzone, Modern Warfare III, BF5, Minecraft, and CS2. I haven't built it yet, and some parts were sourced from AliExpress, including the motherboard kit that came with the CPU and RAM. Here's the setup I'm considering:

- **Motherboard:** SOYO X99 Motherboard
- **CPU:** E5 2630 V4
- **GPU:** GTX 970
- **RAM:** 16GB DDR4 3000MHz
- **SSD:** 512GB Xraydisk M2 NVMe with 3100mbps
- **HDD:** 1TB
- **PSU:** Ace Power 650W

The total cost for this build is approximately €173.86 ($201.83). Also, I'm curious if I would be able to power on the PC without the GPU, considering that some Xeon processors don't have integrated graphics. I might have to wait a bit longer to get the GPU. Thanks for any help!

The PSU you're using is a bit outdated, so you might want to double-check its reliability. While this build might handle older games reasonably well, newer titles could struggle due to the age of the components. Also, keep in mind that support for the GTX 970 is waning, and some newer games may not run as well as you'd expect. Plus, make sure your motherboard supports TPM 2.0 if you're considering Windows 11, since Windows 10's support will be ending soon.

I’ve heard that too! I think the build should be okay for casual gaming, but you might run into issues with newer games and driver support.
