I'm about to buy parts for my very first PC build. I'm getting an RTX 5070 Ti, a Ryzen 7 98003XD, and 32 GB of DDR5 RAM. I'm curious about how long I can expect this setup to last before I need to upgrade any components. Any thoughts?

Think about your resolution and whether you'll want features like ray tracing or DLSS. Those will definitely impact how long your build holds up. If you tune the settings well, you should be able to enjoy gaming for a few years before thinking about upgrades.
It's really hard to pin down an exact time frame since it depends on various factors. But generally, as long as you're okay with dialing down some settings on your games, this build should last you a good while!
If you're mostly playing competitive games, you should be fine for a long time. Typically, these games depend more on the CPU than the GPU. However, if you’re looking to play at 4K on max settings and want a smooth 60 FPS, you might find that challenging as new titles get released.

So, more than four years? That's what I'm hoping for!
