How Long Can I Expect My PSU to Last?

I have an EVGA SuperNOVA 1300 G2 80+ GOLD power supply that I've been using for about 9 years now. It's fully modular and has a 10-year warranty. I'm wondering how long these power supplies typically last and how my model stacks up against newer ones, especially since it's considered an older unit. I haven't noticed any issues so far.

The lifespan of a PSU can be unpredictable. A well-built one usually just stops working without causing harm to other components, but there’s always a risk it could damage something else if it fails. If you can afford it, consider replacing it close to when your warranty expires as a precaution.

Actually, a good PSU can last around 10 years! So you're pretty much at the limit with yours.
